Meetings

Hello everyone,

Hope you had a nice summer and are ready to get back to the WICC meetings!
We have many fun and interesting hands-on and demos planned for you.

At every meeting, you will have the opportunity to watch a demonstration and learn some new techniques. You will also complete a small item for the hands-on and bring it home with you. We chose projects in many different mediums so you will have the chance to use them if they are not familiar to you.
For example, we will be working with buttercream, fondant, Mexican paste and cold porcelain. You will also be expected to bring with you a "basic kit" and if anything extra is needed, we will advise you in the outgoing message to the members.

Basic Kit Items:
-Placemat
-Angled spatula
-Two piping bags, two couplers and two rings
-One tip # 3, and one tip # 16
-Puff (j-cloth or nylon stocking/elastic) with icing sugar
-Small rolling pin
-Scissors
-X-acto knife
-Small paintbrush

We meet on the third Tuesday of every month, September to June, from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.

  Party On! (surprise), textured rolling pins and mats and see cakes on display for January 24th, 2009 workshop!

If you are interested in doing a show and tell at one of our meetings, please contact us prior to the meeting so we can plan accordingly. Meetings are planned months in advance. Thank you. The December meeting will have a segment on show and tell and you can all participate!
